A 1950s E. Rosen/Tico “cat pushing jack o’ lantern” hard plastic styrene Halloween candy container. This wacky cat usually sells for pretty big bucks, but you’ve got a chance to get one at a reduced price if you’re willing to give a home to a poor kitty missing his ears and tail.

This delicate antique etched shot glass advertises Gilt Edge whiskey, made in the early 1900s in San Francisco. I’m awfully fond of this photo, if I do say so. The leaves are a cutting from a tree my mom started from an avocado pit. I kind of hope this little glass doesn’t sell right away so I can look at it some more.
Nevertheless, you can buy it at https://www.etsy.com/listing/201403253

I brought a heavy box of china in the house and my husband almost broke his toe on it. He was pretty upset until I started to research the plates inside. Lots of sellers have described them incorrectly so I had to do a bunch of digging, but they turn out to be really lovely and hard-to-find hand-painted plates in the Olerys pattern, made in France by Longchamp and now discontinued. They are filled with whimsical cats carrying parasols, foxes playing horns, dragonflies, girls with feathery headdresses and gentlemen in hunting boots. I love them!

This vintage 1960s Tuco JFK puzzle is missing a few of its “tripl-thick” pieces, which seems to make it even more poignant. I think it’s just waiting for some artist to repurpose it.

I can picture this Decoware 1950s tin litho breadbox with the lid open, displaying a collection of folded 1950s tablecloths. What would you do with it?
